October 11 - Homes: The Building Blocks of Communities

Join us on October 11th from 1:00 to 2:30 PM as we discover the places the people of Jackson Hole call home.

Students will examine the history of homes and structures of the West considering both traditional homesteading cabins and historic American Indian Wikiups and teepees.  Students will have the opportunity to build their own homes as part of the hands-on learning experience.

Field Trip may take place outside on the Museum patio if the weather is nice.  If it's rainy or too cold, we will gather inside the Museum.  In accordance with Teton County Health Guidelines, we will wear masks when inside the Museum.  This field trip is appropriate for elementary students Grades 1-5.
